I have to work with familiar background noise, otherwise I can’t do it.
So, I waste time getting started on my writing. Don’t know why I waste time considering that I don’t need to please anyone anymore.
Unless I count myself, but even then that is a tad foolish. I don’t need to please myself to such extremes.

Dubiously common source, via Latin for black, but the Niger River possibly stems from the " Tuareg name, egereou n-igereouen" and just conflated with the other word.
I mean, I’m generally avoiding the word for stingy that looks similar, as there’s likely to be some confusion.
