Social Sims... And Maybe A Little Murder 👀 🍵

I really want to get back into Sims but there are so many expansions for Sims 4 I dunno where to start. Like, is the game still worth it without any of that?

There seems to be a lot of interest in Sims 2 lately. Everyone seems to think it was the most chaotic one or something.

The best thing about Sims 1 was the pets expansion that let you choose “Run amuck” as an action for the cats.

Yeah, I hear such cool things about Sims 2, but I never played. I think it had an open world and cool expansions and interactions. I have all the Sims 4 games, but you def don’t need them all. I have my personal like top five or six I’d prob recommend for what I like to do with my Sims, but if you just have base game… It’s definitely expanded, but idk if I’d like the game as much if I only had base game.

Did I abandon my legacy family 7 gens in? Yes.

Did I start a new family? Also yes. My teen daughter is romancing the teen son from my legacy family though, so not… totally abandoned…

I think Sims 2 has one of the most active fanbases. I’ve tried 3 and 4, and neither of them work for me. 4 just felt unfinished without any expansions, and even with all of them, it just… wasn’t brilliant. I’m still on Sims 2, and I don’t think I’ll ever change

Omg stahp! Cottage Living just came out today and I’ve been going through all the new stuff and got so many ideas!

…I also still have 133 lots to fix up… Plus the new world .

Omggg I know! I have covid rn so I cant play my usual games with my friends, so me and my friend played The Sims for a straight 5 hours together, sending each other screenshots. The llamas! SO adorable!
