Something I never knew about draw art that makes so much sense...

Look, I am not an artist, in terms of drawing. My skill as someone who was to draw is that of a child that lacks artistic skill.

But I noticed something as I am currently watching someone draw anime characters. This person uses a ruler to draw a cross line so that they can draw the eyes, nose, mouth, and the facial structure along with the hair aligned.

I never put much thought into it mainly because I don’t draw. Yet I dwell on this action of wanting to draw almost every single day.

Now, I would still need to understand the basics of how to properly draw a face and even a body in motion. So, knowing that much isn’t going to make me instantly a pro.

It’s just now, I understand a bit about how the pros do it so well, by hand and not digitally.

Nobody comes into the world knowing how to draw. Or to write, for that matter. The gift is in having the desire, and therefore the will to practice. Have you seen this video yet? It might motivate you. ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)

There are several different methods for drawing faces.

Here’s a couple of good examples that I’ve tried

I highly recommend you grab pencil and follow the videos along. See what you can create. You might surprise yourself.

Thanks again, everyone!

I rarely draw the sub-lines, my husband more regularly does, when we draw. It’s a way to keep you on track.
