I’ve stopped calling these strange. I forget the things I’ve searched for. More memorable are the awesome things I’ve discovered while researching.

One that comes to mind is that there are people who are rock pile experts. As in, they find rocks stacked on top of each other (sometimes it’s as little as one small rock on top of one big rock), they study them and try to guess what sacred ritual the ancient people might have used them in.

So I’m picturing a five year old stacking rocks on top of each other for archeologists to study a thousand years later.

These people are so passionate about these rock piles, they gave me perfect material. I added a self-proclaimed rock pile expert and his precious rock piles to my story because how can I pass on a gem like that?

I wanted to know how long a person might be conscious and if their vision might flicker or blur or something. And also, what was actually going on with the heart.

MC gets stabbed, and he calmly has a few minutes to think some thoughts :stuck_out_tongue:
