I have a scene… he is hiding from a conversation by fixing it and the tension has to mound. So, I need a few sentences when he is, like, fixing. I was also worried that it’s not a one-man job as he doesn’t have means to have machinery or hire contractors.

Crystals! I’ve started a collection. I’ve really gotten into it. Now whenever my boyfriend’s having a tough day at work, I give him a shard of obsidian to rub and keep on his desk. He says it really helps him lol. And I’m like yes, let’s rub more crystals!
