Strange Things You've Had to Research for Your Writing

Now, a strong argument for man-caused climate change is actually the Sahara desert. That used to be roads lined with olive trees (Roman era) that was possibly wiped out by excessive goat herding (farming erosion).

Watch the article: 2/3 natural change, 1/3 man caused.

This negatively affects 3rd world nations, and there are projects to change this.

Deserts absolutely affect weather patterns.

And here’s the best part: since most the spats over man caused climate change are over CO2, much of desertification isn’t a CO2 argument, which means there is a greater chance of unification with skeptics over this.

…I feel like you went down a passionate rabbit hole :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

More that I deal with a lot people that are passionate about it, and retain details even against my will. Overwhelmingly I find people’s focus on this subject is easily misdirected into avenues that do nothing more than stroke egos, and that part is where my ire is.

Heck yeah, Mas Flow, Dj Blass, early Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Yandel’s solo album, Ivy Queen. I used to have a whole darn collection of it. I still have some albums somewhere, on my hard drive. I still listen to some of it, it’s better than most modern Reggaeton.

But I admit, I like some Ryan Castro. He released an EP in the old reggaeton style last year, and some of the tracks are fire, beat-wise:

Alright, that’s enough with Ryan lol.

I used to have later 00s albums too, on my old hard drive. I had a big collection, somewhere.

I was watching something a while back about Aaliyah, I think. People were saying that her uncle was finally getting her music on streaming sites and lots of the older generation was like… “We don’t need to do that, we have all her music on good old fashioned tapes because we held the recorder to the radio” lol.

Yeah, lol. My Dad is like that too, he has the old records/tapes/CDs and YouTube as well. He doesn’t buy any music, to be honest. I had Apple Music, but I thought it was easier just to use iTunes for what I want/need in terms of music. Streaming sites don’t have all the songs that I want/need.

Nothing against streaming, but it depends on your needs. Some people love it and need it, others don’t.

I don’t often look up things as I need them, but well before.

Just found out that you could have Downs and never know. Mosaic DS is like being a chimera with you Downs twin. They sometimes can hold regular jobs and may be likely to have children without downs if their mosaic cells aren’t in their reproductive system.
