I’m quitting writing for now. Need a break from it. When I do come back, I’ll likely just dedicate to Pixiv and straight to ebooks. Thanks for the question. Cheers. ![]()
Hang in there.
Aww, have a good break.
About to get a jump start on Red Blizzard and two other stories centered in Alagossia.
Catch ya later.
i didn’t get any serious MB writing done this week but i did outline some scene adjustments that i think will smooth out the pacing problems i was feeling. At least, for the part i have written. i’m not sure if the big picture is fixed yet.
maybe i need to finish the sequel plot first… but that’s been evading me too ![]()
So apparently the internet has told me I DO NOT have to stick to one POV in a story, and can switch between 1st and 3rd person. I started off my ONC in third, and now I’m in a chapter that feels like it has to be 1st person. Good idea? Bad idea? I found this: Perfecting that Pesky Point of View | Advanced Fiction Writing.
The strongest prohibition is changing it back and forth without indication of what is going on.
Literally just found out Spotify is selling audiobooks hmm
wonder if they’re any cheaper. But then again the going rate for 10 hours worth of audio/visual content is about £20 anyway.
It’s particularly useful to distinguish between main character and support cast. I am trying one 1st and two 3rd in a book I was sketching behind the scenes.
it’s getting there… slowly, it’s getting there.
i had three cups of coffee before 7am, and i kind of want more
If I had a bicycle, I would ride it to the library, but I would also be hella scared because to have my bike stolen while I am at the library will be a horrible experience for me.
I can ride and get some exercise in while I take in the soothing air on my way to the library.
Like the fact that I have to walk nineteen or more minutes to get there, depending on how fast or slow I walk, while carrying a heavy ass backpack is not suitable.
No car, no Uber, and place to walk.
I am now realizing that I live in a great but sucky as hell area.
That’s why some people learn to ride a unicycle. Portable.
I don’t think I am up to riding a unicycle…
Sorry. LOL!
Hey all! I found out that Prowritingaid is holding a virtual 4-day conference for fantasy writers and it actually sounds pretty interesting. Apparently even recordings will be available afterwards if you have to miss a session.
Here’s where you can register and see who’s speaking:
Here’s a link to the event schedule and sessions:

They make folding bikes as well.
I’ve heard of these types of bikes.
I thought it was weird years ago, but it actually practical and makes sense when you think about it.
Someone help me out here:
I am not that creative in this regard.
I can’t come up with anything “unique” for fairly popular board game along with the name for said game in my story.
It’s pretty much an Alagossian version of both chess and othello…combined.
I need a decent name for this board game. Hell, I can’t even figure out how to even play such a board game.
Chess and Othello are two very different board games with very different ways on how to play, understand, and overall succeed.
…Still don’t know why I went with those extremes…
bike lock
oo or roller skates
True, very true.
It’s just most thieves tend to get a bit creative with their stealing…
Nah, I ain’t built like that/I don’t know how to skate.
