I’m going to link this here because I think that a lot of people here will have a lot to say on the subject. It’s more from a story criticism perspective than a writing one, but very interesting.

lol, thanks :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m trying to finish this darn story. It’s my longest solo-endeavor yet meaning without help from NaNo pressure or anything. It’s got a war, royals, exiled royals, kingdom corruption, and a whole lot of misunderstanding in it making it complicated and long.

Alrighty then.
LOL!

Time to start working on Red Reign and then I shall figure out what to do with the standalone novel The Eradelian Pillars.

I like the friends that Jorildyn made in the latest chapter I’ve finished.
They seem so quirky and fun and a bit weird…mostly Kali.

Hmm…what shall I do with TEP (The Eradelian Pillars) that is different from the standard?

Wow, for the first time, I have a married couple in my story amongst the main characters.

Goofy Kali and Calm Gisella are married and they are both females.

This is both new to me, because I’ve never ventured into this type of situation.

Can’t tell if I am evolving or devolving?

Finally, I’m on spring break, and I’m almost certain that I’ll finally be able to finish the chapter because I’m about 80% of the way through after cutting a lot out just because it was getting a bit too long, and honestly, I just want to get it done and move on. Unfortunately, I’ve still got some hard parts to write, especially the ending of the chapter, so it’s not going to be a quick finish, but I’m feeling good about the progress that I’ve made today.

Time to finish up the rest of chapter 7 of part 2 in Red Reign.

I am liking where I left off.
I hope I continued to LOVE/ADORE this story until the end of book 1 and the end of book 5.

So, I am going to prepare myself till I finish up where I stopped.

NOTE: I should really jot down who’s who and various setting that they go to and mentioned.

Done with chapter 7 of part 2.
Now, I have to start and finish chapter 8 then move onto the last two chapters of part 2.

Each part is given five chapters.
So, there are thirteen parts and sixty-five chapters for book 1.

Haven’t really thought much about the rest of the books yet.

This is not a joke, this is real

It gets worse!

As the Red Reign series grows and expands like the world of Alagossia, I would like to create another series that is WAY different from Red Reign.

That’s I topic for another time…
Can’t stress about it…seriously.

I am done with chapter 8.
Hooray for me because I am making my way to chapter 9!

Also, I greatly enjoyed this chapter and there are some dark truths that have been revealed.

Someone’s lying, but who?

Ooh! how should I start chapter 9, because I need to bring the Rhaks and a special being within the Rhaks who isn’t Renna?

It’s not time to show Renna, yet I so-called showed her in the earlier chapters, but in a way where Renna wasn’t really revealed.

Jorildyn thought she met another Rhak while in Alroria. Maybe it was Renna, maybe it was some other Rhak.

Who knows? :woman_shrugging:

Back to regular programming for me after the ONC. I am editing the story I will be working on for Camp Nano except on Fridays. On Fridays I am working on editing and posting the Fireman’s Girl chapters (1 per week).

Plus, reading as usual.

Stayed up all night again to write 8k words.

Finally FINALLY the battle is DONE.

Relief. Sunlight.

Now all I have to do now is to write the aftermath chapter and maybe or maybe not an epilogue.

At the end, three characters died. One of them is heartbreaking

You have returned my friend!

If a character who has never experienced death, suddenly sees a lot of it (most she doesn’t know them, a few she does, two she was close to. of those two, one is evil and had to die), should there be discussion about mourning and grief in the story?
