i had a whole 3 day break!
honestly don’t know how they’re finding me. they’re obviously targetting lgbt+ stories (to advertise an lgbt+ app) but i didn’t tag Gallows Humour with the relevant gay tags so 
could be picking up on the pronouns in the blurb ig

ugh, i don’t like that this book has 40 chapters and is barely halfway finished. i know i was waffling around in some places and i’ll fix that in editing but it still feels too long.

aww
just streamlined the remaining outline i had for this arc down to 3 chapters, so i feel better about the length of the book.
there’s still a whole final arc to outline and write, but i’ll deal with that when I get to the end of these three chapters.

I needed a break from editing Lunar Heart, Shadow Bound, so I got back into my magic realism story and came up with this gem 
For context, Iptaj people are called Ipts and they are visited by some rowdy Arcans.
Ipts looked on in fear and disgust as these “ilwisi”, these dim-witted, immoral uncivilized barbarians, set foot upon historic land where great, smart kings once lived in shiny splendor and grace.
