I asked because I have a biker gang (yes I know) called the Vaqueros. Which takes inspiration from both. I know that a gang of annoying teens is different from a Mafia style crime family, or a cartel or whatever
Yeah. I sorta think that cowboys (vaqueros) and outlaw biker gangs have a similar sort of mentality in a way and they go together kinda. I know that there are the Norteño cowboy ranchers and they are a bit different from the traditional Wild West image but the core mentality remains there.
The Vaqueros were actually formed by a ranchero turned businessman turned outlaw biker. And yes they brawl a lot too the original founder has since retired and his friend is now club president.
Fair enough. The Vaqueros have horses, hats, and bikes haha.
Started editing Between Roses a bit here and there for beta preparation.
Wrote this thing:
It was ten-thirty when the phone rang. Eryn raised her head from kissing her pillow, her head full of Xavier and their imaginary date. She blinked away his image and went to answer.
decided last night that i’m not going to start a fresh wip come november. i want to but given how nano normally goes for me, i think it’ll be better to be a “nano rebel” and continue with the project i’m already working on. unless i finish that one first… which is depressingly unlikely.
gonna do preptober too. i’m already 2/3rds through the story but luckily i’m stupid and didn’t build a proper magic system or proper character files.
honestly, I rather worldbuild a fictional planet with so much lore, myth, legends, historical events and mysteries and much more than write an entire novel focusing on a character who feels a bit out of place to me in said world.
