It’s weird to have offline beta readers because you don’t know what their reactions are.
Augh! I want to know what they think of Eryn and if it’s believable when she starts to kind of trust Ace of Hearts! And I want to know if they think Cheshire Vaudeville is evil or just kind of nuts.
And if they trust Everet and Jack and Clue and Quartz…and what they think of Eryn’s frustration exploding and her storming out (twice) and if they still like her by then. She’s not supposed be a 100% likeable character, but I don’t want readers to hate her so much she’s impossible to read about.
I also hope they think the funny parts are actually funny.
My god, it feels like I’ve seen this, but I honestly can not remember.
Granted I was born in 1990, so when it came out, I was three years old and it ended when I was six. That is probably why. Maybe, they did reruns later in the 90s.
Dearest me, was it shown on Cartoon Network or some other channel?
Alexis wants to join the biker club her brother’s in. She gets friendly with one of the bikers, MJ and joins as a prospect. Her brother disagrees with her becoming a member and votes her out. In retaliation, she makes her own club and brings MJ along. They become rivals or the club her brothers in and start a war. Chaos ensues.
Max joins the Aztec Hearts, a support club of the Vaqueros as a Prospect. One night on a run, he gets kidnapped and his life is threatened by a local gang who is rivals with the Hearts. Max’s life is spared when he is forced to go undercover for the gang to collect intel. He gets found out and almost dies. It sparks a conflict between the Hearts, Vaqueros and the gang.
The second one is more dramatic, but I like the first one better. It’s more personal, and has more potential for internal development, while the second one is more about external obstacles. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯
