I went back to working on my novel with my mom’s laptop until next Saturday when I get my new laptop.
Hot Damn! Here I am!
I finished part 5 of chapter 2 at 4025!
Damn it was a great chapter and I didn’t mean to make it so long like that though!
I have to shorten that in the edits. LOL!
the solution… was to put my laptop in dark mode.

Plan to make the next part a bit of a flashback on what happened within the kingdom. And they still got a few days to go before a horrendous blizzard comes. The chapter is going fine it’s just the timing is wonky and off.
I may have to ease back because so much is happening on the first day the Knights came to the kingdom. Maybe I should move towards the next day, yet time works so strangely in the world of Alagossia. Very differently from Earth.
So, I have to set the time of the day right, because so many hours passed that It has to be at least closer to evening.
That’s another gripe needing to be address in terms of my story’s worldbuilding the hours in the day. Yet I can’t think about the structure of Alagossia the same way I do Earth.
Decisions, decisions… ![]()
UPDATE: Qualeshia, you overthink things yet again!
This is the blurb. This HAS TO be the blurb. I’m so sick and tired of editing the blurb!
Seventeen-year-old Eryn is popular for her looks and acts selfish to keep her status although she’s conflicted within herself. One day, an old bracelet transports her to a surreal realm where two queens try to capture Eryn for a power called “the alyce” which can open the door to Eryn’s home world. It’s extraction could cost her life!
During her escape, Eryn meets a friendly little hare boy named Duxim, a quiet soldier named Clue, and an army captain called Ace of Hearts. For decades, they had all been living in fear of the manifestation of madness, the Jabberwocky. When Ace claims Eryn’s power freed him from madness, she’s suddenly seen as a potential hero.
Eryn could focus only on going home, but she would be turning her back on Duxim, Ace, Clue, and other new friends. Is that who she really is? But to help, she would need to figure out how to use the alyce before it’s too late.
Madness and violence are spreading. Total destruction may not be far behind.
Tick tock, tick tock…
Wrote about 1k words between yesterday and today, which helped finish another chapter
now we get back to the first of Diego’s nighttime shenanigans
Now, I got to understand what my three-story projects are really about.
Introducing the Project Trio, Project Merellien, Project Summoner, and Project Dynasty.
I shall return later.
I have written down what my three-story projects are about, and my goodness are they so great but are going to be a lovely little challenge to make sense out of.
Now that I have three story projects called as a whole Project Trio, I need to make a schedule on which day should focus on which story.
The problem however is starting and sticking with the schedule.
Another chapter done this week, now up to 16k words
Had to read previous chapters to remember what day I’m supposed to be on, corrected some dates and times as a result
Writing both tomorrow and Saturday, but I want to do it Saturday, honestly.
Finished chapter 1, part 1 of revamped Project Merellian. I LOVE this way MUCH better, regardless if it needs work. Its a first draft anyway, so there’s that.
I shall do Project Summoner’s chapter 1, part 1 tomorrow. Go back to Project Dynasty’s chapter 0, part 1.
I have to redo my calendar for Project Trio. ![]()

This is me trying to come up with the right words to use for action scenes.
I have pleased a Facebook blurb-critic at LONG last.
She said
Sounds like a novel Lewis Carroll would love.
which is great praise for me because I was inspired by the original Wonderland works ![]()
I hear that!
No writing today again. Though I did jot down some notes.
So, a win-win?
Finished chapter 1, part 1 of Project Summoner.
Tomorrow is Project Dynasty the Project Summoner again.
Then finally Project Merellian on Friday.
