I’ve just learned there’s such a thing as kingdom vibes for books, which I’d never heard of before but happen to be writing, so yay!
Writing the inciting incident right now where a palace is blown up by kegs of gunpowder and almost everyone inside is killed, so I need to stay in a gloomy mood, listening to sad Enya music for inspiration, etc. So omg why is it now when everyone in the house feels this need to interrupt me?! Everyone from the dog and cats to my parents, the neighbors, the tv in the other room and the phone are doing everything possible to take me out of the moment so I can’t concentrate. Arrrrrgh! *slams head on desk*
You mean physically sore, like from working out at the gym? Or angry sore, like when your neighbors steal your morning paper? Man, I hate when they do that! (òᴥóし)
To take a break from working on Pinti’s story, I revisited my magic realism dark satire historical fantasy story, Alive At Crepusculum, and came across this gem XD
To put in context, Geoffrey is a rich, selfish guy with an alcohol problem. Here, he’s too drunk to move from cuddling the toilet.
Goat sacrifice and the moon dance are related to some scammy cult he’s involved in.
Geoffrey slurred his words and bowed his heavy head, hitting it with a dull sound on the toilet seat, and went unconscious. Maids came to his aid, dragging him to bed and dressing him in his gown. He would sleep until dinner, snoring up ten storms and three tornadoes, dreaming about money, goat sacrifice, and dancing naked under the moon like the fool he was.
I am going to start Project Alagossia later today or tomorrow.
I am still “plotting” things for this story.
I rather not get to neck deep in the plotting, because I just love to go with the flow than to do plotting/planning or a mixture of floetry and plotting/planning.
