Struggling Writers’ Daily Den: rant, share, complain, ask, daily progress thing (Part 2)

Thanks

I’ve now decided that this magick can’t be talked about or it could reverse the resurrection (like a 50% chance). So, if someone has been resurrected, they can’t say “hey, guess what, I’ve been resurrected!” They can think about it all they want though.

If someone finds out that person has been resurrected by magick, they also can’t talk about it.

I haven’t decided how many times someone can resurrect themselves, but it’s not going to be limitless.

I totally get that. Also, you could be working on other projects, too, writing related or not. Also life can happen and “get in the way” even if it’s a good thing.

Good luck with it. Happy writing. Enjoy

Yes. I have so many WIPs, I shouldn’t, but really, I don’t care. I just want to have fun

Project Chaos and Project Magecraft are suitable for trad-pub more so than self-pub.

I love it, I know it can be done much better with some help and patience.

It’s great that you realized this early on. I was dead set to self publish my debut for many reasons.

But then when working on marketing, I found out something I wish I had known earlier: despite not intending to, I wrote literary fiction and that is one genre that’s 100% recommended to go trad pub with.
And I have sequels and sidequels in the works that also can’t go trad anymore.

It’s too late now. I have no choice but to continue what I started.

I hope Project Chaos is for traditional publishing.
The concept is The Road meet Girl Interrupted.

My editing deadline is Feb. 5, but I’m aiming for a day before or earlier.

Ahhhhhh

I’ve finally come to the chapters leading directly to the climax and figured out a plot hole all in one night.

I’m going on Wattpad for free first, then taking it from there.

How does this sound for a basic blurb for ONC?

ONC Prompt 124: “You’re wondering’ why half his clothes went missin’.” —Taste, Sabrina Carpenter

Eddie Perez, a twenty-something gangster moonlights as a pimp for his dad’s side hustle, alongside his best friend, Krystal. Everything goes smoothly, until the night he meets the mysterious Esteban inside Heaven, whilst waiting for a call.

They start to take things further than intended, and their personal lives start to bleed into their professional lives after a drunken night of fun. Their little secret gets aired to the Vagos and things begin to get chaotic.

Will they still be there for each other when the shit hits the fan?

So, I thought this was funny

Context: Mary pretends to kick a demon away from Anastasia to make her feel better. Reality is, she might actually sometimes kick a demon, unbeknownst to her.

Wouldn’t she like to know that when her foot did hit Anastasia’s shadow, a tiny demon who had come through in the night would get its eyes kicked to the back of its head, such was the force. Mary’s foot was turning into tiny-demon-mortal-enemy.

I feel like I should be doing more with Wattpad in terms of getting more readers or something.

Does anybody know what I can do?

That’s a good question, and one every Wattpad writer has. Googling brought up these for me. Might be a good place to start, who knows. Good luck! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )
