Tweak the story to The Red Key Trials by changing the plot and the title into something better, personally.

If I wrote something that combined Irish and Aztec mythology but in a modern urban setting would you all be interested in reading it?

Doing five story teasers from 15 or 20 pages long. I can make a decision by finishing those then pick which one I want to write a story about.

Honestly like the idea of a story teaser. Though these story teasers might as well be short stories with a novel possibility, in a way, that I plan to make 20 to 30 pages long depending on my feelings.

It’s official. I love world-building more than writing. I wouldn’t say that I hate writing, it’s just that world-building hits so differently from me.

I like writing, but I LOVE world-building–Alagossia or another fictional world.

Gearing up for… ah yes, a nice day of editing

I’m reading Follow Me To Ground by Sue Rainsford and I’m realizing how important it is to use perspective. MC sees things through a certain lens which really colors the world in a sort of slightly grotesque, slightly grimy, and somewhat twisted type of way. Even something as simple as a description of someone’s clothes brushing against their skin is described using a very close MC perspective that makes me shudder a little bit.

That got me thinking about Richard. He’s lived for a long time and has memories of all his past lives. What is it really like to be him and see the world through his eyes? He’s seen many different kinds of people. He remembers his past deaths. What is it really like to be him?

Basically…the character story map is done

I know where everyone is doing what where when, and who knows who, or who met who when. Simply put, I figured out what’s going on with certain characters when the spotlight is off of them.

I learned that there’s going to be discussion about morals, resurrection, love, darkness in the heart, forgiveness, regrets over things you can’t control, and slave-slave owner relationships. Also, eternal life.

it can be nice to hand write it, if u do it long term being able to scan it into ur computer would be nice. In college i found that when looking over a printed copy like from a pc u can spot more flaws then u can more easily fix them. For the longest time i hand wrote most of my work even tho i had a laptop, it can be liberating to hand write something then type it out as u can more easily see issues

I was going to type it up after writing it out. Although scanning sounds like a good idea too.

if doing a ton of it by hand and doing it normally, scanning it in might be the way to go. but if just doing it once in a while not bad to do it up by typing
