It’s perfectly normal to feel sad and disappointed, but just remember not to take it personally. There are millions and millions of stories on Wattpad, and the stories that have been there the longest and have the most views seem to get priority for some reason. It’s all about the algorithm and how frequently you update and stuff. And a lot of readers have been burned before by authors who fail to finish their stories, so they wait until a story is marked complete before even starting it. So I know it’s hard, but you just need to be patient. Eventually good things will happen for you! ( -.-)\(^◡^ )

try having narratiors who are different people and use different names to call the mc. Daddy, da, papa, dad, father. The narratiors are the mc’s children

I have written this today. It’s in the first chapter and first page. Trying to set the dark, and yet, somewhat comedic tone of the story.
It was risky business. They could have all ended up as crisp, burnt, unidentifiable pieces of human bacon as they set the building on fire. But here they were, alive. The four-hour long escape from Lannykeep to Lupine was over, too. They could finally let out a breath of relief.

I just finished writing my novel and journaling the progress then wrote the chapter summary for the next chapter.
