Wrote this thing. Context: Richard has been searching for someone without success after two weeks and now claims to know Lupine City’s alleyways a whole lot. He’s chattering because he’s annoyed.
“I fuggin’ hope we got her.” Richard hopped off the horse and scowled so hard he could have dislocated his jaw. “I know Lupine’s alleyways more than the back of my hand now. Do I have any freckles? How would I know? Is there a prostitute’s house called Never Leave Me Sailor? Yes. Would you like to know that there’s a closed tavern used as a slaughter house? Irony is, Cee, it used to be called Save the Pig. You can still see where the sign—”
