The most I do is write a chapter summary and that’s it. I don’t do an outline or anything too detailed, just a simple chapter summary before starting the chapter.
I follow the chapter summary though still do my own thing in a way.
I used to feel that exact same way. I guess that changed when I took charge of my mental health.
i wish i could write today but had a good amount of stuff going on, my wifey is getting me for the rest of today as I was busy yesterday

i procrastinated writing for most of the day but at the last minute i finally sat down and finished the chapter.
I’ve been chipping away at this wip by sprint writing to word count goals but i ditched that tonight and I feel like I made more progress than usual. maybe sprinting is the wrong format for me. it’s fun to do at writing groups but having to stop frequently to count words (and look at my distracting phone) is probably too much interuption for a productive me.
oh well at least tonight went well

Yeah, true. Most of those books with 10M+ or 1M+ reads have been on Wattpad since I was like seventeen in 2013 anyway, slowly amalgamating views over the years, even past their peak. The algorythm regurgitates them cause these are what are popular and always have been. Things have changed a lot since the golden days on Wattpad. They need to bring back an Undiscovered Gems tab or New Books or some form of social media on Wattpad again, lol.
Also true lmao. I should write something like the Sad Bai story I wrote “Sofa So Good” but longer this time. Remember that? That was a literal fever dream idea that I wrote when Iw as sick in bed lol.
