a good way a round it is to beep it, or just do underlines to show a word was there but was obsured

I am gonna go onto my writing laptop. I bought this really cheap notebook that’s distraction-free for the job. It has Notion, Word and VLC media player on it, pretty much all there is. Oh, and Firefox.

Oh fun! I just got a new laptop too, for School Round 2. I put an OpenOffice suite on it (basically MS Office but opensource and too old for AI) and Scribus (opensource AI free photoshop). As well as Firefox with a Duckduckgo browser.
The only thing I added that I don’t really like is the Foxit PDF editor, which is subscription-based and you have to really work to disable the AI. But it’s the only pdf editor I can get to do what I want and I’m not up to the task of hunting down a different editor rn.
so basically my laptop looks like someone applied a 1080p screen to a windows vista computer 
I can really see the lack of pixels on my apps. But at least I can do what I do in peace.

One of my main characters named Jorildyn just disrespects all readers with big TBRs and personal libraries. She thinks they are “ridiculously wasteful”. LOL!

I could, but it’s something a character says, not something in narration
I think I’m going with…a combination of a bunch of foreign words that mean “neck warmer” instead of scarves, and possibly have “the bloodless” or “the anemic ones” as like the even worser way of discriminating against the people
I did think about if this character HAS TO say it or not, and I think he does because I want to bring out the discussion of why those words are harmful or degrading, or it’s not okay to say it just because the other person laughed it off (which is the situation in the story, currently)
