There are forty-four people in the Kenorland Imperial Dynasty that are alive and chose to stay royalty. Their royal surname is Steelcrest.
The former Grand-Emperor of Kenorland, a man named Julius has three wives and children with each wife. However, his first wife he had two children who are named Gregory and Isadora. Gregory is the current head of the family and the reigning monarch of Kenorland and is married to a woman named Millicent.
Gregory and Millicent have five children and each of the five children are married and have their own children. Gregory has plenty of grandchildren.
Why did I share this with you all? Because I have story for the Steelcrest family that deserves to get mentioned in a novel.
Ranked number one in the Twenty Dynasties/Great Llyrian Houses, has an entire nation that is the five times the size of any supercontinent that exist on Earth ages ago, the second wealthiest family in the entire world right after the Sovereign and their family, and rulers of the most technologically advanced nation in the world.
The Steelcrest Dynasty is a highly privileged family. I want to write their story so badly.
I also want to write the Jackal Dynasty story too since they are second in the Twenty Dynasties and every single child of Krieg von Jackal’s name starts with like K just like the Veckendecks starts with the letter C for their first name.
Maybe I can write a story focusing on the Jackal and Steelcrest Dynasties. The Jackal originally served the Steelcrest Dynasty and are great friends in a sense. Then the Jackal Dynasty rose to absolute fame and crazy amount of wealth.
Now, the Jackal Dynasty are royals like the Steelcrest family.
I can smell the ideas.
I am going back to Red Reign: Monster in White.
I know what I want to do with the story in a sense.
I just need to make minor changes which are changing the character names and some other little changes.
Yay! I don’t have to change the entirety of the Red Reign novel. I am also going to combine two ideas into a single second novel which shall focus on the Steelcrest Dynasty and the Jackal Dynasty’s ups and downs and epic royal adventures/scandal/etc.
Whew! I am so glad that I don’t have to do any crazy changes for Red Reign. I was worried I would have to start all over again. Well, I sorta do, but that is a topic for another time.
Nothing else to report.

Why the hell doesn’t Google have a text to speech thing on their document site? I know Microsoft words has one, but it would be nice if they did.

Yeah, I basically convert Google Doc to word specifically for this feature when I edit.

Also, little by little the book is coming together. The algorithm still ignores it summarily.

Well, after all the challenges I’ve had so far these past six days. I’m almost at 2k words. I’m honestly really missing writing physically.

I got 4 hours to mess around with my stories or at least close to five then I got to leave to handle something.
For Red Reign, I still need to make slight changes and figure out where to go with chapter 13, so I won’t stay stuck on that chapter for long.
For my second novel, I have been really thinking about this one far as what to do plot wise. I am thinking about making the focus on five characters each from three prominent royal families that are within the Grand Houses of Llyria/Thirty Dynasties who families are fighting to become to next ruling family of Llyria while dealing with bunch of drama and other hardships.
Since the Llyrian Government is an elective monarchy where the Sovereign can rule for fifty years no more, no less, I am thinking about making an upcoming election where craziness happens.
Nothing else to say or report other than the fact that with the second novel, I am going to need to do some real thorough research for future drafts.

From what I am getting from the Jackal Dynasty, royals be popping out children like crazy!
Like I originally had the head of the Jackal Dynasty with nineteen wives and each wife he has ten children with and some of those children have seven kids.
No, I can’t do that. That is WAY too many people! It makes sense because the head of the Jackal Dynasty is a horny man who really wants to prolong his legacy.
But still that was too many people in one family and I’m not making a family chart for all of those people. Hell no!
So, I am giving the Jackal head either 4 or 5 wives and with each wife 3 or 4 children and some of those children will have up to three kids.
Originally, it was A LOT more, but I can’t be bothered with that.
Over and out.
Sometimes those roadblocks, and changing course as a result is part of the process. Like having multiple branches of your story’s reality, and in the end, you eventually settle on “the one” that feels the best/right to you.
This is happening with my prequel. I have scenes that I really like, but they’ll probably never make it into the book because the story went off in a different direction, and those scenes no longer make sense.

I haven’t written much in the last few days so I’m still trying to figure out what to re-name my main mob romance book. Potential titles:
Debts to Dead Men (I like this one a lot)
Atropellado (the city in which all the stuff happens, second choice)
The Last Blaze
The Last of his Name
The New Blaze Boss
Water Weighed Against Blood
Lethal Deeds
Feels like everyone’s doing NaNo this month. Am I the only one that as soon as I see, “Here’s some formula or set goal for your writing,” my brain goes, “Nope!” I’m not good with sticking to rules haha more like I just have to write, and maybe apply rules later?

True. I am still figuring things out things for chapter 13.
So, there’s that. I know where I sorta want to go with the chapter, but I also don’t at the same time.
Does that even make sense?

I hate it when work gets this busy because I know well that there’s no way to get it all done in a timely fashion. Ugh. I really hope it won’t stay this way.
It sucks because during the week, I rely on breaks to write a bit for nano, but when it’s stressful, I need those breaks to just not think.
Hmmm. Maybe I’ll read a bit instead.
In good news, I’m off tomorrow. I’ll try to not think about work at all all day and hope I’ll be able to write.

Trust the process even when it doesn’t make sense.
At least that’s what I tell myself lol

OH MY GOD! WHY DO I DO THIS?!
Every time I write Demetrius’s story it ALWAYS starts with a fancy celebration made by his family, and he is bored at the celebration. I honestly don’t know how to start this man’s story without being a damn party. And the reason for the party is either they family just wants to flaunt their wealth or someone’s damn birthday.
I cannot think of any other way to start Demetrius’s story without it being a party. Why is that?
I don’t even think the party has much to do with the plot other than showing who each of the Steelcrest family members are and showing who Demetrius is.
Seriously, I’m so used to starting Demetrius’s story as a big fancy party/celebration that I can’t picture him doing anything else.
I need help!
I’ve figure out a plot for my second story. I’m just annoyed that I ALWAYS seem to start Demetrius’s story with a big fancy celebration.
Anyway, I am going to do a bit of chapter 13 of Red Reign because I have to hurry. I also must figure out Demetrius’s story while doing the chapter outline summaries.
Nothing else to add or report…for now.
AAAAAH
Work!
Rant coming in three, two…

We’ve had an ongoing issue and I had opened a ticket with our vendor. It’s been open for months. They couldn’t recreate it when testing and asked for backup and logs and examples when it happens again. It’s a sporadic issue so that’s not easy to obtain. I spent a lot of time analyzing data, extracting information from logs, which are ducking gibberish, btw, I’m a ducking fortune teller, and so I provided solid answers, see here, here is where the problem was happening - figure out why and provide a fix or recommendation, something so that we can solve the problem. That still wasn’t good enough.
I provided another example when it happened again. I added all info that they requested and pointed out where the issue was.
I didn’t hear back.
And this morning I see an email that the case was closed because it was awaiting customer feedback for over a month. I provided ducking feedback and a lot more just days ago!!! So I tagged our case manager in the case feed, asking to reopen the case. There was a button to provide feedback so I used it and left negative feedback that I was dissatisfied that the case was closed when it was never resolved.
This isn’t the first time it’s happened but this time I was very ticked off because I spent all this time gathering information to help them diagnose the issue and just gave it to them days earlier. Simple negligence.
So, just minutes after I submitted that negative feedback, I get an email, sorry for closing the case. It was automatic because the case was awaiting your feedback for over a month. We’re still working on it. Could you please take back your feedback so our team member’s scores aren’t affected?
…
Seriously?
I replied with clarification that I did provide everything they asked for and they’re the ones that didn’t change the status so it’s entirely on them for closing an unresolved case.
And well, I don’t want to cost anyone their job so I was going to be nice and take back the feedback but I don’t see an option to do so.
I just can’t anymore.
I do wonder what my manager will say about this. Should I not have submitted the negative feedback?
I don’t think anything I said was unprofessional or anything like that.
She often pushes me to push the vendors when they’re not doing what we need them to.
But I never know where I stand with her.
She might disagree with how I handled it. I’ll find out soon enough.
And so now I’m upset and I don’t know how I’m supposed to continue working today.
3 more hours to 5pm. Why is this day so long?

Got to 21k for NaNo.
Sovanna has a few great ideas. One of them will definitely work. Another might work, but it all depends on her magick. The last one won’t work because apparently, the Humans don’t actually care about her race anymore. The last one is the most important because lives are stake.
