I like that reference for werewolves in Germany and Russia fighting witches. I might use that story in my Book 3 of The Walkwe as something that foreshadows my protagonist’s own Lost Boys tribe.

I wanna see if he’s showing off his butt again, like he did in that one movie. It will give me something to talk about while I put together those lunch plates. Maybe this time we’ll raise enough funds for your summer camp program.” Out the door before you’re even finished speaking.

Hm. Well, is your guy overpowered–if not, why? What are his faults, and what are his strengths?
Then do the same with the wife. If they’re equal, then perhaps building their characters to dual one another would be the easiest way to achieve this.
What does he lack that she gives, and what does she lack that he gives? What do they have in common? What don’t they? What are their core beliefs and how do they align with one another’s.
Most importantly, perhaps look at reflections of strong women in your life. Why do you appreciate their strength? What is their strength?

Thanks. They seem legit, and I’ll be posting for free, so there are no issues with locking into any contracts. They do non exclusive agreements,which sounds a safer bet. It does rely on populace engagement and support. I probably won’t take that option. I just want engaged readers.
OMG. I just remembered the time I have a face-to-face meeting (kind of felt like a job interview) with an agent and was give the sad news of no-go days later. They tried their best to sugar coat the sudden rescind. I guess agents will cut losses before they begin if they feel it’s not going to work out in the end. It’s about chemistry, luck and what the masses want.
I really have bad luck within the industry.

My dad was visiting from another state for like a week and I haven’t been able to touch my writing at allll. 
Also glad this thread was still here. I was like GASP! Where is it! 
Writing some dialogue lines in my prequel for warm up. Just little fluff scenes that may or may not contribute to anything.

I know, surface-wise it’s normal, but I’m talking about something that she puts before him unconsciously, possibly even jokingly, to hilight a strong personality. It’s the way I went about it just barreling over the guy, is all. Not that it’s always wrong to do, but there is a difference between normal and Hyacynth from Keeping Up Appearances.

I am still recharging from finishing the book yesterday, so probably just a bit of editing today. But I have read the last chapter of Jilted by the Mafia and started the first para of the chapter 17. I’m starting a little shy of 33K, but I have zero goals in terms of wordcount on it, just want to finish the story in a satisfactory way.
