I must admit though, I do like dark prince sob story, but done right. The way she did it… I don’t like, personally. There was really absolutely no reason for him to be the one to become that way other than to make more books centered around dark prince sob story. Bardugo wanted to write dark prince sob story, but she only had one good prince to work with, so decided to ruin him for more books. Never mind me. Idk her. I’m only speculating. And it might not be her doing all this, but her editor or her publisher.
Anyway, I do think there are ways to do dark prince sob story that are good and not so much a sob story, but one that makes you want to cheer them on.
