I have been wondering where the general limit is for a female main character in a first person pov YA novel for tolerance/likability.
I keep seeing people complain about how harshly female characters are judged but I have never experienced it myself. It could be due to my obscurity , but maybe I’m just that good at crafting likable characters. I wish to ask.
Well, he’s the monster. The whole point was to have him blend into that era and be unveiled as inhuman: liking him too much isn’t healthy. I mean that’s Feminist Anthem to it’s core, when you think about the roles in society of that time.
