not much really xD thereโ€™s talk about smells and how online groupwork is a terrible idea :joy: but i might have missed some stuff :eyes: :woman_shrugging:

Speaking of online group work, luckily for me my groups were great. However, in one of my groups there was this one person who didnโ€™t do anything or come to class. Thereโ€™s a section in the papers we had to submit where we had to list what we actually did and the percentage of work we did. My teammates and I cackled when we listed the absent teammateโ€™s percentage of work as 1%

youโ€™re lucky :joy:

 if we had that I think everybody would do work and probs others too lmao
i think my classmates would have put 0% straight away :joy:

I asked if I should put zero, but there were only three of us and 100/3 is 33.333333โ€ฆ

I said โ€œmaybe we can give her zero and one of you gets 34โ€

My teammate was like โ€œnah letโ€™s just give her 1 percentโ€ :joy:

lmaoo the democracy :joy: but then again decimals in percentages are annoying, especially when itโ€™s by 3 since it never ends that way xD

Exactly. Oh, you should try it. Go get a sunburn. jkjk  But itโ€™s great, because some of it comes out in nice large chunks. When you lose the grip and it comes out in tiny flecks, thatโ€™s frustrating, but those big chunks are satisfying. :joy:

Oh! Are you finally joining us in the western hemisphere now? :joy: How was your flight??

lmaoo no thanks :joy: my friend got sunburnt and she looked like, no offense, a giant tomato
i just remembered - i have gotten sunburn lmao but i just appeared overly tanned in a sense :joy: my skin never peels from some reason

i hate losing grip  the tiny flecks go everwhere

Yes, Iโ€™m now in the Western Hemisphere, and I will be for at least a year :joy:

My flights (yes I had two :joy: there are no direct flights from my city to Chicago, unfortunately ;-; ) were great! The food was good and the flight was smooth. Lots of legroom as well. I detailed it on my personal thread

Gonna have to wake up a bit early though tomorrow. Will probably sleep in a few minutes or else my mom will get mad

How was your flight?

:joy: Well thatโ€™s a way to put it. Someone once said that their skin only had two settings: pasty and lobster xD

Yeah, that happens. Itโ€™s only the really bad ones that peel this much, I think. Theyโ€™re awful though, I wouldnโ€™t recommend it. I couldnโ€™t walk for a few days after. My legs were like overreacting heat sensors.

Same! xD My floor was littered with flecks once.

Now youโ€™ll be awake when we are, hehe :suggestive: :joy:

Ooh, thatโ€™s good! Personally, Iโ€™ve always found there to be not enough leg room. xD My neck always cramps after a while and then my butt hurts. :joy: Ah right, I need to catch up on those threads.

It was okay, thanks. I didnโ€™t get a window seat though. ;-; I used to get moody if I didnโ€™t, but this time I was just mildly annoyed. xD There was also this guy sitting there next to us that kept snoring, so that was weird.

Hopefully!

Oooh, which airlines do you take? Personally I take Asian airlines and I donโ€™t know how roomy they are compared to other airlines. I remember KLM and Air Canada being rather cramped compared to Singapore Airlines or Garuda Indonesia. Maybe itโ€™s just my height? Iโ€™m a bit tall for a girl from my country but I think Iโ€™m average or below average in America. Iโ€™ll see when I get to campus.

I didnโ€™t have a window seat on my first flight. This was actually the only time I wanted an aisle seat over a window seat, because COVID and I didnโ€™t want to have to pass a stranger when I want to go to the toilet. I managed to get one on the second flight, though, because the configuration was 2-4-2 and my mom and I were sitting on the left side.

Yeah, my bro and I used to fight over window seats :joy: one time he fought so hard to secure a window seat, only to find out that it didnโ€™t have a window. When we boarded the plane it was literally just a wall. I took a pic of him smiling next to the wall and turned him into a meme

On my second flight there was a woman with a baby across the aisle from where I sat. I was thinking โ€œyour baby canโ€™t even wear a mask and youโ€™re bringing him/her along in an enclosed tube where the air is being circulated?โ€ >.> luckily the baby wasnโ€™t too noisy. It did cry, but not during the whole flight

Yeah, we just take Air Canada. :joy: Seats are not very comfortable. The storage space in front of me was the smallest since I had an aisle seat, and my bag was kind of big, so my legs were even more cramped. Hmm, how tall are you? Or if you donโ€™t want to answer thatโ€™s fine too. xD

Yep thatโ€™s true. My flight was way shorter than yours though, so I didnโ€™t go to the bathroom at all. xD But in the end I had to go badly so I went right after we got off. Yes, those 2-seat arrangements are the best. No strangers.

Also, I read your post and I was going, whattt?!! and laughing in my mind because so many coincidences occurred. I was also watching Soul on my flight!! And it was amazing. The piano was great :ok_hand: Unfortunately, I only started watching near the end of the flight so I didnโ€™t finish it. ;-; And before that, I was also listening to the classical music selection they had. Only, they just had compilations that didnโ€™t even list the individual track names, so I went through an album they had. But it had Chopin and Erik Satie. The last piece was Chopinโ€™s Nocturne no. 20 in c sharp minor, and I was like, now thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m talking about. xD Anyways, whatโ€™s more, I was originally planning to watch Raya and the Last Dragon too but I didnโ€™t even finish Soul so that was out of the question. :joy: How come our tastes are so similar

Yup, I did that too with my brother :joy: Although he stopped caring after a while. AHH, that literally happened to me more than once! -_- Very frustrating. xD

Yep, it was. I hope I never get one again.

Oh, poor things :tshirt:

avoid the sun :joy: or just pour on suntan

eh, at least I donโ€™t have to sweep it up off the floor  waste is not tolerated lmao

No wonder vampires hide in the dark all the time. Jkjk
But anyway, why do people even try to get tanned?

:joy: Yep. Though mine was carpeted so a vacuum is necessary >.>

:joy: tru tru
idk according to google tho it releases endorphins and makes people feel good also apparently studies show that people tend to find tanned peeps more attractive xD

oop - itโ€™s preferable to sweeping tho :joy: at least things donโ€™t go this and that way

Umโ€ฆ is that, like, a psychological effect or actually physical? xD Ew, no thanks. Thatโ€™s just taking it too far. Honestly, I never understand why people are attracted to the things they are.

True. Sweeping is especially annoying when the bits just donโ€™t go into the pan but underneath it >.<

I actually have no idea :joy: ah well the human being is a strange creature lol
