I love the topic! That’s really what it is. Most of my home library is true crime. I love topics of serial killers, criminal psychology, mafias, organized crime, etc. Heck, I spent WEEKS looking for ONE DVD I could no longer find streaming online, only to order it from some obscure site, and waited another month for it to arrive - because it was the only detailed documentary on an international jewel thief group I was researching for my undercover spinoff.

Wowwww xD You really like true crime stuff huh I’m actually looking to major in criminology :joy:

Character development is one of my favourite things. I have two MCs. Alyssa is the primary MC and she has her cop partner, Thayer, my male MC. He’s a rookie. They’re a hilarious pair lol

OML I can just imagine

Had it not been for my mental illnesses, I would have totally gone for criminal justice for college when I was younger. I really wish I did now. But, researching it on my time is fun too.

Alyssa is more serious, older, and the veteran. Thayer is younger, spunky, and takes on the annoying rookie role as soon as Alyssa labels him as such.

Oh well, it might me more satisfying to explore it from a writer’s perspective! :joy:

I get annoyed by my friends when they ask me questions and are all hyper :joy: Totally relate to Alyssa xD

It’s definitely fun!! I enjoy writing about it immensely.

I too relate to Alyssa  I feel the same way.

I can tell! Your passion is oozing though the screen :joy:

 what to doo xD i don’t supposed he’s the love interest? :eyes:

I have no shame about it either  ’

Common question! No, Thayer is not her love interest. Her romance story is separate from him. She and Thayer become close friends, only ever platonic. He becomes like a little brother to her eventually.

Wunderbar! :joy:

Ah, that’s nice

I personally dislike crime dramas where the cop partners become love interests. Like, I find it more interesting when they have their lives and people outside of work. It makes their story more interesting, in my opinion.

yess I agree! everything seems to jsut revolve around work otherwise and I’m like o.o don’t they have a home? :joy:

Exactly!! It’s one thing I loved about Criminal Minds, they gave their characters lives outside of the job.

That show’s on my list of to-be-watched :joy: I’m the type that binges everything at one go, so if I start now, I’m definitely not going to be studying

Oh lord, I started watching it when it first came out. (I’m old). I watched from start to finish. It was my absolute favourite.

:joy: when it came out i was barely into anything more than toys and cartoons β€” i don’t really have favourites in general, but a show i wouldn’t mind rewatching would definitely be Gotham. That was a really good show
