Turning the world-building of Alagossia into a non-fiction novel???

I never wrote a non-fiction novel, but I am seriously pondering how to world-build Alagossia and I need to write in a novel type way then print it out and use it for my future writing endeavors.

Like I need to type it all out after writing it all down and whatever notes and changes I’ve made to toss into the project. I just want to figure out the entire world and have everything all on paper.

Things need to be flesh out thoroughly so that I wouldn’t have to keep changing things and stick with what works for Alagossia and what needs to stay.

So, I just wanted to focus on that then get serious about writing. But how to go about doing it?

Thoughts and feelings?

Actually, you once said you had a ton of blank journals, didn’t you? Or was that someone else? If it was you, then you could devote one journal to each aspect of the world and make it like a dictionary or something where you can look things up when you need to…? ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

I have a ton of notebooks and some journals.

I need to go more in depth than just simple definitions.

Oh! Then you could write encyclopedic-type entries then, or whatever you need to. For me the whole problem is organization and finding the info when I need it, so I’d need to devote one whole journal or file to a particular aspect of the world, like currencies or religions or whatever.

I also want to ask myself world building questions to answer and more.

So, yeah an encyclopedia, a wiki, or something along those lines.

That makes a world of sense. Yet I have a BUNCH of things that need to be covered, not just the standard stuff.

Dear lord, I hope that isn’t me needing to purchase another notebook or two.
