I’ve been reading some poetry lately to get back into reading as an easy start-i bought some short stories the other day just so i can increase my reading lengths slowly and not drop them.

I like baking and cooking and trying new recipes (and hoping they turn out okay / at least someone likes it). Ooooh those brownies sound like they would be so great, you should have some warm with ice cream because brownies and ice cream is like… the best combo. You could even try it with oreo ice cream if you don’t think it would be too sweet lol. What kind of things do you crochet? I’m glad you enjoy it and it’s relaxing for you 
I like the classics (or what I’ve read of them, I want to get into reading more classics when I am done with this book but it’s long and I haven’t had the time to read the last couple weeks, but I might try to get back into it tomorrow.) Poetry is good too! I haven’t read many short stories but I’ve heard some collections are really good and I would be interested in checking some out in the future too, it seems like a good idea to have around as an in-between for when you don’t know what to read next or you don’t feel like you have the attention span to start another book right away.

YESS I’M GETTING INTO BAKING!! And I totally get how you feel. BROWNIES AND ICE CREAM ARE LEGIT THE BEST COMBO!! urgh i should get some oreo ice cream. I was making handbags and fairy lights lol I made coasters and pouches last week. I’m thinking of making flowers next.
Exactly!! I sometimes get exhausted from academic readings and then I don’t have the energy to read so poetry is perfect for that

I’m so glad you got good news, everyone loves good news!! I’m doing good, my sisters and I may go on a little trip this summer but it’s not got the full go ahead so not sure if we will, but definitely talking about it which is exciting. And of it doesn’t happen then there’s always next summer
