Yeah I’ve heard that. Prolly going to wait a while before seeing it lol. Halloween is obviously a staple though. I like Signs and Alien too, although I don’t remember much from them. The main alien movie I watch is The Thing, both the old and new versions.
Oh ok! Well maybe it’s showing elsewhere. I mean, it seemed to get pretty big so I wouldn’t be surprised if they show it on channels besides the actual Hallmark one. And yeah I agree, though I don’t mind the cheesy ones tbh.
That makes sense. I’ve found some pretty good ones on AO3 and same actually, I used to read so much on fanfiction.net! But later, I got more into Wattpad. Then when that fizzled out, I got into Quotev bc my bff was always using it for quizzes at the time, which was what I used it for mainly then until I decided to branch out a lil more lol. I would agree that WP is mostly younger members, but I still found some gems. Tbh I used it more for social stuff at the time though anyway. And yeah I mean, I guess Quotev is more known for its quizzes so I can see what you mean there, but it does have some good fanfics and original stories. I had found one author there who became my third favorite author and still is to this day even though her works are no longer on Quotev sadly, but I used to reread them a lot. Supposedly, she’s only on WP and Tapas now? Which I tried finding her on the latter and I had a hard time navigating to find her works. I haven’t been able to get back to WP for a while but hopefully I can find her there again. Anyway, her name is Sianagh Gallagher is you’re interested. Her works are all BxB and they’re mainly fantasy or paranormally based, but she has one that is more realistic fiction called He Drifts With The Wind, and that’s prolly my favorite of her individual ones to read. She has two series, one involving werewolves (I forgot the title, but it’s 2 bks and the MCs are Pip the human and Krey the alpha) and The Golden Prodigies, which is my favorite of all of her works. That one has 6 different stories. I know the first series is on Goodreads, but Idk if any of her other stuff is yet. I’m just waiting for the day that her works actually become bks bc I would literally buy them in a heartbeat.

Pretty much everything except pure action or romance. Sometimes comedy but usually only in fanfiction. Mainly horror, fanfiction, fantasy, dystopian, thriller, etc are my faves <3

I’m glad your favourite writer is branching out. Did they write fanfic and now write werewolf stories? I used to write werewolf stories on wattpad when I was first starting out sharing my work, then I went through writing some other more fun stories that were more realistic and currently I write fanfic but I wanna get back into original stories for the characters that I made up!

Pretty harsh result yeah lol. Yesterday I spent the day baking this three-tier coffee cake my dad wanted for father’s day (belated because i had to get the things and everything) and today I got to doing some gardening, getting rid of the weeds to clear the space so we could put a new clothesline out to hang the washing out this summer which was a fun workout 
but now my feet are tired and so am I lol. What about you, how are things over there on your side?

Now I remember, the werewolf ones are of the Mate series. Of the ones on the page, I’ve read the Golden Prodigies series, the Mate series, He Drifts With The Wind, The Medium Kid, Restless Waves, and I was reading Roots and Oxygen as she updated it but I never finished and Idk if she’s continued it since.
Yeah I write! I haven’t finished anything yet sadly, but I have lots of WIPs 
Mostly like realistic fiction or slasher/serial killer vibes, I have a couple that are a lil romantic though, or at least have romantic themes mixed in. One is dystopian but with a romance at the center. The rest are fanfics for the most part, besides a few more w/ dystopian/sci-fi elements. Hbu?

Yeah sometimes it can be hard to settle into an idea, especially when you’re trying to finish something for the first time. Once you’ve written a few stories to the end it doesn’t get loads easier but it’s less daunting to think of doing at the beginning of starting a story. But Horror and Romance are cool genres to play around with.
I’ve experimented with a lot of genres. I really like writing about characters that are middle aged men in comedic ways, like my character Dez, but I wouldn’t know how to explain that story at all. I feel like the genre doesn’t matter, I am more drawn to certain themes, like love and grief and morals? But I do like crime and drama and horror elements too! It’s fun to try new things, I’ve even tried writing songs and poetry, though because those were newer to me I feel less confident with those lol I’ve finished a few original stories though, and I wanna get back into writing either a royal/fantasy romance or a magical realism ya story, but I am also really into nautical stories. I want to read more of them, I’m currently reading Moby Dick and loving it, and it makes me want to write something kind of like that too.

Hard day of work huh! Get some rest. bestie! OMYGOSH BAKING HOW DID IT GOOO AND HOW WAS THE CAKE. I love coffee cake 
UHH MEE WELL I baked brownies hehe turned out pretty good-I’ve been trying to get into baking and hmmm working on some personal crochet projects and been trying to get back into PHYSICAL READING cuz yo girl needs to get off the screen for some time. I’ve also been traveling back and forth between home and montreal a lot. So been in and out of it-I’m still settling into things-I also have to bring back my business from the dead since i put everything on pause for uni. I’ve been trying to write but days have been so busy and exhausting.

It turned out good!! It was so big it lasted a few days but he really liked it and I was proud of how it turned out!! I also loooove coffee cake, it’s so nice with a cup of tea. Brownies are great, I bet they were really good. You crochet? That’s really cool 
yeah I’ve been trying to get back into reading Moby Dick because I accidentally let it slip and I just stopped reading it altogether haha but I have been enjoying getting back into it.
