Lmao only a career if I get promoted in future years. It is nice though, and I’m on one department permanently for now, as long as I want to be there apparently.

One week in and I got put there for the first time and now I’m just there all the time lol. But that’s okay. It’s sometimes fun using the headset for a non-serious question. Hehe thank you! I dunno if I’ll ever move up—they say there is supposedly good progression there but that probably remains to be seen depending on staff numbers and how much they like you/want you to stay where you are instead? But I haven’t been there that long so I don’t really care about that yet!! As long as I can work without needing to bring it home with me and still have time for / can afford any hobbies etc then I am happy.
OOH I SAW THE MORISAKI BOOKSHOP WHEN I WAS SHOPPING AND THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING IT! but I didn’t get it last time, I bought The Red House Mystery, Death on the Lusitania, and The Dallergut Dream Department Store which is a Korean novel I believe, and the sequel comes out soon so I’m looking forward to reading it and, if I like it, going to pick up the next one immediately lol. But I’ve been reading pretty fast so far, I’ve finished the first and I’m 1/4 of the way through the second.

GURL i’m so sorry for this horrendously late reply
So i went out and bought more books by japanese authors-I think i want to expand into Korean literature as well since i’ve heard there are good finds. I think i want to try Sri Lankan literature as well I saw a book recc that seemed hella interesting. I’ve read sri lankan poetry before and i’ve liked it. But hell yeah gurl pick up that copy of morsaki bookshop i swear it changed my prespective about certain things and honestly i related to some of the things the characters felt - i think i’ve slowly transitioned from hardcore fantasy reader into reads like the morisaki bookshop and tbh i find them so healing and gentle - i sort of think our reading interests change accordingly to whatever we’re going through in life or stage of life we’re at lol sorry for the spiel. STOPPPPPPPPPP i’ve been wanting to buy The Dallergut Dream Department store but it is so rare to find a copy in my local bookshop and i’m trying to not support big box bookstores lately BUT GURL i think i’ve been changed to a local bookstore girly??? tell me why i’ve established so many friendships and just causal relationships with the local bookstore community?? it feels so nice to step into a bookstore and just know people aksdjfaksdfd
