I vaguely remember there was a game somewhere (can’t remember if it was on here back when the site was first made, or a different place) where this game started. One person would talk as though they have soup and there’s something in it, the next person would reply accordingly, and then say their own version of it.
Example:
Person A: Waiter, there’s a sponge in my soup!
Person B: Well, take it out before it soaks up all the soup! Waiter, there’s a book in my soup!
Person C: So that’s where it went! Waiter, there’s an eggshell in my soup!
That was fun, so I wanted to bring it back.
