Well, I'm a little disappointed over my accomplishment!

Technically, I DID NOT finish Red Reign as I originally thought.

I just finished a draft of Project Succession through experimentation. Red Reign is totally different from Project Succession in every way. So, I am working on draft three of Project Succession right now.

Red Reign is not finished, but I know how I want it to go. Going off a slight from draft two, I know what direction I want draft three to go for Project Succession.

I was happy to finish Red Reign when the fact is that I never truly did Red Reign. I just did a different version of Project Succession instead.

So, I am glad to be done with another draft for Project Succession, but it sucks because I am not done with Red Reign. Bummer!

I have to properly finish Red Reign like it was meant to be finished. No more revamps or changes because I know how I want it to go. It needs to be authentic and follow the goal.

I’m actually on the zero draft for Red Reign. I even gave it a slightly different title name for the story.

I gave Project Succession the roughest second draft I could and now I’m rewriting it in a third draft.

So, I now know how both stories need to go and what to do.

I’m a little disappointed, but just not entirely. I just chalk it up to giving Project Succession another draft that went in a totally different direction that I won’t be going into.

Thoughts and feelings?

And still no beta reader to help me through this…

Bump.

Finishing a draft is a huge accomplishment. I edit as I write, using Grammarly as an editing partner; it’s how I’m able to push out writing as much as I do. I’m a big pantser, tho, and Grammarly is great at editing it, as after writing it, I would have a hard time editing it unless on paper. You are doing great

It’s an accomplishment. Though I don’t know why I thought I was done with Red Reign when I wasn’t. I just went in a different direction for Project Succession.

I need to figure out when I should start book two for Project Succession.
