What are you working on now? 2025

STILL way too many stories at once-

I want to try to play Zelda’s Lullaby on my flute.

My drawing improved a tiny bit.

Training with Toby also progressed, I am now teaching him how to high five.

I have some new books to read, I’m playing post-game stuff in Miitopia, re-watching a couple TV shows, and I recently discovered a comic like thing on Scratch that’s pretty good.

2025 update? Sure!

I’ve since finished and gifted the Snoopy plush to my aunt as a Christmas gift

Started playing Okami on the Switch with about… 20 hours of progress made? I’ve been enjoying it as a cozy action/adventure game

Wrote 3 or so chapters for THfAS in December, started Chapter 16 early this month aaaand haven’t really written since this last practice block started ;-;

My partner told me about this game the other day. Maybe I’ll tell him someone’s been doing it on Wacky. When he hears about other people doing a game he knows, he tends to want to do it :stuck_out_tongue: That’s how I can get him to do a game I can’t do but that I want to watch XD

What else do you like about it, apart from it being cozy?

Ah, smart tactic! XD

I really enjoy the music and how creative it is with the brush/drawing mechanic, both in combat and when interacting with the game’s environment  it’s art style is pretty unique too!

I heard about that! He was praising that bit

That’s such a cool idea. I’ve never heard of anything like it before.

The writer in me is thinking if something like that could be portrayed in a story somehow

Definitely! It’s a fun and unique mechanic with good variety as you progress

Would it be something like in the game where the character controls the environment by drawing or something else?

This part. The character could be a calligraphy artist. There’s these calligraphy artists in Japan who use gigantic brushes to make gigantic calligraphy art, and they make a whole performance out of it.

That might be where the game got its inspiration

The last half of this video is where she actually does the performance, but you might enjoy the rest of the short doc
