Don’t know about all things but between smoking, salting, and pickling fish, you would have some choices no matter how bad the fishing is on the current day.

I like smoked and pickled herring…salted, not so much.

Such communities, the further back you go, would get their fats from whales, walruses, seals…

But what I want to try is the only warm-blooded true fish in the sea…I believe it is called a Sun Fish?

Aww, that means no crawfish etoufee, boudin Balls, Gumbo, thin sliced fried catfish.

Mais, I took a whole turkey breast and fried the outside that sucker before baking it with veggies. That means garlic and onion powder with a touch of corn meal for the breading that became more of a coating for the whole dish. That was yesterday’s supper.
