yup. Mostly because I came into college with a lot of credits. I was in first year engineering and we had to choose our majors for next year. One of the things to get a guarantee for our major was a certain amount of credits taken at the university itself. Since my A Levels already took up some credits, I had to take a bunch of classes that weren’t required to meet the guarantee.

So while my peers had less credits and taking easier courses, I was taking the other courses with more credits. I still managed to get good grades in most of them though.

I do understand what you mean. If I’m really not in the mood then it’s hard to write, and my best work (in my opinion) is when it’s later in the night and I’m inspired - but that also comes with a side of being too tired and wanting to just write it tomorrow because I wanna sleep haha.

Also, this is just practice from prompts so I’m working on using words and ideas and structuring a poem in different ways. They might not be the best but it works. I do still kind of wait for when I’m like okay I’m ready, let’s go! but I try.

Mhm, that’s actually smart. And yeah, I agree, you need sleep but I’m nocturnal (melatonin gummies won’t even work on me) so I’m never tired at night.

I literally just procrastinate on everything, but at least I get things done…most of the time

Same here. Funnily enough, for our oral communication presentations our professor told us to “rehearse, rehearse, rehearse!”

I literally would just start a few hours before it was due and still get 90% or more

it only works for some courses, though. it’s not good to procrastinate on calculus, unfortunately
