Writing specific things

Genre wise is a historic mystery in a classic ‘who done it’ style.

For main couples, a gxg story.

In general, a page-turner.

I’d love to write historical fiction. I have a few ideas for some, but I just can’t seem to get them started and continuing.

I just had fun writing the 1-2 chapters I did for one because it was a “torment the Lord” for a theme.

If I ever went at it seriously, it would be that, the whole way through.

I’d like to write a character like my coworker but the same reason why he’s an interesting character makes it impossible for me to write him, at least yet.

It’s in the way he talks. He always manages to surprise me with his responses. His mind works in strange ways.

It’s an annoying limitation. I hope one day I’ll crack it.

I have a problem that I either can’t marry a plot and a setting research. Truth is always more interesting than fiction so my characters want to just spectate the events.
