But would they know? I think a lot of men exaggerate their height anyway. And if they have to look up to look at me, they’ll probably not know. I’ll just say “I’m 180cm” and they’ll not know what that means because they’re bad at maths.

Now I’m wondering where Vil would rank on the shadow daddy spectrum. Here’s his data:

- Mysterious: Check. He’s extremely stiff and rarely blinks. But he’s not dark and brooding. If you ask him about a topic he’s interested in, he’ll speak for an hour. People just think he’s mysterious because their ears close the moment he starts quoting obscure books.
- Man: Check.
- Dark Hair: Also check, he has raven hair.
- Has Shadow or Darkness Magic: Eh… kinda?
- He’s a super-soldier who’s trained in every weapon, so that probably counts.

- Who’s barely legal age: Mey is 168, and Lorian is 154. You become an adult at 60. So no check there.
