Is there’s a way to permanently keep a thread as an archive?

Unfortunately, that will not be possible. On occasion, we may be able to revive threads if requested, but only if these threads weren’t closed due to rule-breaking and only if the purpose of the ‘revival’ is to resume (and maintain) the conversation. Once a topic has run its course, we cannot archive it or otherwise keep it publicly accessible.

Also, how long it is until a new thread can be approved?

This depends on timezone and availability – we are a volunteer team, after all – but generally we try to get them through as soon as possible.

I made the draft to a new thread recently, then I forgot that it need to be approved first, so the draft is still mostly empty.

If the draft is empty, then a new thread will not be approved. This is detailed in the Roleplaying and Games category rules, as well as the Code of Conduct:

Roleplay submissions will be reviewed by the moderator team and approved or denied based on provided description and prior thread creator forum history.

If there are no details for us to review, we cannot approve the topic. If you have submitted your request with an empty draft, it has most likely been rejected already. Please make sure you resend your request in as much detail as possible.

Lastly, please note that there is no need to tag any individual moderator when posting on ‘Ask the Team!’ We all have the topic on ‘watching’, so as soon as one of us is able to provide an answer, we’ll be sure to get back to you.
