Happy Monday! I have 5 days until I go on a 10-day trip. Been wondering if I should go psycho and finish writing all five chapters before I leave. (1 a day) of Nightmares. Also, have to finish a reading project and would have to read and edit 2 chapters a day or so. I’d like to have this finished before I leave as well. With very little time to actually do these things because well… toddler. So here we go to a very productive week both online and in my actual life.

I say go for it, but write the general idea of each chapters, just to get the ideas out and then beef up the chapters later! That’s what I did and later just changed the complete ending, but kept the ideas I had typed up! And oh my goodness, that’s sooo busy!!!

That’s how I pre-plot the book is write the general idea of the chapters haha, so I technically just have to fill in the rest. It’s going to be busy but the more I can buckle down and get done the first three days the easier the rest will be haha. I’m also a last minute packer so I’ll probably pack Friday morning and we leave Friday afternoon lmfao.

OMG!!! I am so sorrry I really thought I would have time to get ahead of the curve this past week but it has been so Effing busy and this week is pretty booked with work and social stuff too. I am working on getting caught up and trying to prep stuff to send you. I am so sorry!!! Just give me one more week to get caught up! <3

Please don’t feel bad at all! No need to stress here. I’m having a super busy week as well and may have to play catch up next week but not sure yet. We will see how it goes. Go live life, keep us updated, we will be here.

Oh my gosh! I just finished chapter 25 of Nightmares. That means the book is fully finished and can finally be set aside until I forget the story enough to edit it.

This is going to sound depressing when I say it out loud haha, But I’m kind of at the point in my life where I think I’m done with writing. It’s a hobby for me not something I want to do professionally or anything like that. My goal for a while now has been to finish the books in my drafts so I can check them off my to-do list and possibly move on from writing. Haven’t had a new project in over a year and a half. But I’ve made good progress on the drafts on my wattpad account and in my google drive.

Nothing wrong with that! I also have a full time career and writting probably wont progress to more than a hobby but it is a dream of mine to at least publish a book so that I can have something in my hands that I know I achieved. I have been writting since I was a child for funsies as well as photography and other arts. I don’t think I will ever tire if it as a creative outlet. It’s like an eternal itch that needs to be scratched but I agree there are spurts where we need to take a break and a step back to enjoy it once more or else it becomes work and a chore… which is what was happening to me. Who knows you may come back to it again.

That’s not depressing! Writing is supposed to be an outlet, whether it’s for professional reasons or to get things off your mind I thought I wouldn’t write after having a family, simply because I didn’t think it was mature or beneficial…then my mental health kicked my butt and I had to find a grounded hobby again lolol!! So, the thing is, writing is always there when you need it, not because you have to <3
