Is it possible to have a section for people who are looking into publishing? Kind of like the old Industry Insiders club on Wattpad? This would be a great place for picking apart queries, asking publishing questions, etc. It’s possible this exists already and I just haven’t found it. (If so, sorry for pestering you and I’d love to know where it is). Thank you.

Yeah no problem! We kind of have all of that put together in the “Writing Support” section. The community isn’t quite big enough to justify having a bunch of more granular sections, so anything that has to do with writing support or help or questions, for publishing or anything else, should go in there for the time being. We’re constantly reevaluating the best ways to organize the community as it continues to grow, so it may be that we eventually have a more specific section for that, but right now we just don’t have quite enough demand for something quite that specific.

Short answer is yes, you can, but the longer answer is it depends.
We have to be very conscious of how much space we take up on our server and videos can be huge. So the limit for uploads is around 5mb, and most videos will be much larger than that.
What I usually recommend is using a site like YouTube or Vimeo to upload your file (if you’re worried about public viewing, you can set it so only people with the direct URL can find it) and then use the link here instead.

Hi! So, I’ve noticed that on the Birthday Thread things get a little “dry” when the same phrase is repeated many times to different people, and I was thinking, what if we do something special for them? (like maybe a special privilege for that one day, or etc, but still following the Code of Conduct). Just an idea, but would this be possible? (I haven’t thought too much into the details yet…)
