So each book is actually just a few days at most. Book 1 for Amneris takes place 5k years into her lifespan. Book 4 is 8 years later. 2 and 3 happen in there, plus Hathor’s first few books plus a whooooooole bunch of short stories because I need to set up books 5 and 6.
As for the timeline, trust me ya don’t want it Why? Because book 1 takes place in the year 771,523,557,244. Yes, that is 771 billion. I haven’t gotten further than 771,523,557,369 yet. Everything after that in the file has a question mark
Amneris already had her Balance Keeper powers. Her personal power just didn’t activate because it never needed to until then, and even then it was an accident.
Never got into X-Men tbh
In a way There’s amulets, spells, enchanted objects, etc. that can hold power. The only catch is they tend to explode when trying to take Amneris’ power because she just has way too much, much to the amusement of the people who sit back and watch the chaos.
The Five Forbidden Magics are Time, Space, Resurrection, Blood and the Ancient Elements. They weren’t always Forbidden but became that way after people became scared or people who could use them did stupid things. Time and Space became Forbidden because they’re dangerous af. Resurrection became Forbidden because it messes with the natural order of life and death. Blood and Ancient Elements became Forbidden because they were just too powerful.
Funnily enough, Amneris has none of the Forbidden Magics Resurrection was used on her which is how she initially became Immortal but that’s it. Theoretically she can use them all, but this has never been tested because even she doesn’t want to go that far.
Tbh most of the political issues end with Amneris punching them in the face because “how can anyone be that stupid?” It happens quite a few times. Guy asks when she’s going to marry off her daughter? Punched in the face. Asked why she doesn’t have a husband who controls her? Punch in the face (Colt aka hubbie finds this one funny). Someone says she has anger issues because she’s a red-haired woman with black skin? Punch in the face. Say she’s emotional because she’s on her period? That one actually ends with a c–k shot. There are many more incidents with a lot more characters
I did consider that but decided not to go with it. The Deathwalkers are essentially given a new body just like their old one, only more of a “perfect” version. So no aging, no illness, no injury. Even if your head is taken off, it’s back on when you get the new body. You wouldn’t know a Deathwalker is a Deathwalker unless they tell you.

Short answer: yes
They don’t necessarily have direct interaction with the lore. They’re more just . . . there. Part of the “Creation is huge” and “there’s even more Beyond we will never know about”. Sometimes they interact (eg Creation and Void, Hathor and the Vetlun, Amneris and the Void/Vetlun, etc) and sometimes they don’t.
Technically time can’t be stopped. Physics reasons until we find out otherwise. When I say “stopped” I more mean “slowed to the point that it seems frozen from the outside observer”. So because of this, assuming the person is ticklish, yes they would laugh Because time is relative, you wouldn’t know it stopped or started again because from your perspective, nothing has changed. Only the outside observer would notice the difference.
Is there any particular reason he does this? How can he differentiate between person and not?
That sounds like it could potentially do damage
There’s a few different ways. You can store some of your essence, you can literally extract the memory and embed it via memory magic, it can be locked in the subconscious, twins can share memories through their mental link. These things don’t usually cause damage but, if done wrong, it definitely can.

Thanks! Psychopaths having a difficulty in fearing things is a recent discovery. I mean, there is a spectrum, but I watched an interview with a psychopath who doesn’t feel fear which is a reason why he can do reckless things like driving dangerously or going against the law. I thought it would explain why Richard isn’t affected by demonic aura like other people.
So, demons just walking around don’t give off demonic aura. They have to actually transform into their full forms to do that. Usually, they’re in a more subdued form that doesn’t affect anyone. This is how they’re able to live amongst humans without the humans passing out all over the place.
Richard being a psychopath came first. The first time he ever appeared as a character in the complementary story, he was already a psychopath. Then when I started writing his story, instead of following the media’s stereotypical psychopath-is-evil thing, I decided to do research and write a proper psychopath.
Intrigued. Charcoal had never met a psychopath before. And humans are entertainment, so this was the jackpot
What’s Edin like after it wears off? Is he emotionally and physically exhausted? Is there any other part of him that’s affected after that? Are there injuries he notices for the first time? Does it affect his hunger?
So, he already has this persona? And the curse just brings out? Or is having a sadistic persona part of the curse?

Who can go against what’s right? Who can be convinced to do something illegal? Who can go against the laws and rules of the world?

Idk. Which came first, the chicken or the pun? Richard had always been a villain with somewhat supernatural powers, so I might have eventually come to that.
I pants, so I researched as I wrote and edited I guess then the answer would be “no time at all“
I always imagine it as having different zones. Might be taking inspiration from Virgil’s Aeneid (read it for a class) where there’s different areas of the Underworld.
It’s like a massive underground world with often fiery skies, but a lot of the light doesn’t reach the land. There’s stalagmites and stalactites, and vast areas of black rock with rivers of lava, and fire pits, and there’s just these extremely tall mountains of black rock reaching up to the land of the living. Demons are constantly fighting and scrambling up these rocks to get to the top.
There is one massive, gargantuan black mountain rock with an ornate carved throne fit for the underworld king. That’s where he sits most of the time and observes. He’s so high up that he can see everything.
I imagine he’s on a slight hill and the Underworld is like on an angle. The king is in the highest point and then if he looks out, he can see everything below him including the huge jagged mountains swarming with demons. Each demon prince also has their own throne from which they can see everything they own and command their legion from. But behind them is the king’s mountain.

Other than existing somewhere beyond the clouds, I have no idea. It might be upside down. And the idea of “fallen“ just comes from “falling from grace“ or “falling“ as in “failing“. Or maybe someone wrote “the failen“ and someone else thought the “i“ was an “l“ and it became “fallen“. Who knows? I just thought of that. It would be funny if an angellic mistake was what created “fallen“.

What does she think about all her powers? She has so many. Without any of the typical Amneris humor, deep down inside, what does she think of it all? (or maybe deep down inside, there still is Amneris humor? )

Same here. Resurrection is possible if you have a demon or angellic, but it’s forbidden because it goes against the order of life and death, essentially. And if a demon or angellic does it, and they’re found out, they get the side eye from everyone and possibly punished.

His name is Glint. He craves human connection, and is also really, really scared of people finding out who he really is, and he’s also healing from terrible trauma. He’s waiting for all his powers to return and it’s taking a really long time. Meanwhile, he’s having to serve a corrupt Lady ruler, being abused by her, and hiding his identity, when actually he is the actual ruler of the land.
He can only challenge her once his powers have returned (and yes, he eventually is able to challenge her).
The perspective. So, it’s like he’s seeing a scene through your eyes.
Also, he doesn’t do it on a lot of people. Just a few.
