I did a quick author note after chapter 7.
Though, I will ask some questions to the readers (not sure what questions) to answer.
I know that the author notes after the last chapter of each part is something I need to explain what places are and what certain words mean.

As for questions, what I’ve seen is stuff like “what did you think of [thing that happened this chapter]?” or about a specific character, or “what do you think is going to happen next” sort of questions
Some others (including myself) dedicate a separate chapter for author notes and questions for readers
Other books with more expansive worldbuilding even do glossaries, maps, or extra chapters for other stuff

OMGG I used to be really active on wattpad. This is such a huge step and I hope things pick up for you on the site. It really is about playing the long game on wattpad plus a good schedule! Comments are always hard to get but one brave soul will start commenting and that’s usually all it takes!
