“Oh no, she’s a clone.” The original looks at the other. “Not sure if I gave her enough blood to speak though.” She tilts her head and checks her out.
“Yagobadoo!” the alt speaks complete gibberish while cleaning.
About to see a naked mummy based on the next move lol.
The mummy is grabbing a drink now.
“Wait! Those are real?!” Denzel eyes go so wide.
“…I can’t tell if you’re screwing with us or not…” Dee seems very skeptical.
Pat whispers. “Do you know what he’s saying?”
“Woah!” Dak Phai’s face lights up. “That’s so cool! Who did it? Is it magic, or technology?”
Clone!Hailey va clearly makes Ansi uncomfortable as she shivers, but Starsust shrugs.
“I can’t lie,” Stardust admits. “There have been times when I wished I had a duplicate to stand in for me at stupid round tables with the other generals…”
give me Clone!Hailey finding herself and becoming a new person arc pronto! 
“May I come, too? I hope it’s in a language I understand.” She mumbles the last part, remembering that her own native language was never written down.

“Magic. I used some of my blood to form her. She’s only temporary though. Once I stop bleeding she’ll go poof… And judging by the fact she can’t talk, it will probably be in a burst of blood mist,” the original days like that’s normal.
The clone doesn’t seem distressed by this fact, still working.
“Alrighty! I miss anything?” Mr. Raven pops back up with his final load of house stuff in the wheelbarrow.

Stardust scoffs and snickers. “If she could, she’d have started a long time ago.” Then she looks around. “That looks like everything,” She tells Mr. Raven.

“Wonderful. Names, little ladies?” He tilts his cowboy hat to the new friends before taking a moment to roll up his sleeves with the plan to help.
“Dàk Phâi,” she says, extending a hand. “Nice to meet you.”
“Stardust.” She sticks out her hand after Dak Phai.
“Though I’m hardly little,” she snickers, “I’m Yenansi.”

Yenansi (aka Ansi) is Yessei’s sister and she’s pretty muscular but also a vamp lol.
Stardust is canon Yessei’s girlfriend by the end of the story but I’m leaving that open for now because Yessei has had history on the thread lol
and then Dak Phai is Ansi’s best friend and Yessei’s employee lol. she’s got big brown bird wings and she’s a techie/smart one of the group lol.

“Sure,” Przygoda nods. “It mentions an amulet, which is what I think will help. It also mentions a door where the amulet is kept, and something used to open that door.”
Cue Amethyst looking like she’s thinking of something

Pearl notices him looking at the mummy and sighs like a tired mom-
“They’re real,” Isaac explains. “I’ve seen quite a few around while me and my friends were on our adventure, before…”
He trails off instead of finishing his sentence.
“Ah, he’s basically giving thanks for the lives and health of the babies, as well as asking for them to continue being in good health. It’s their way of giving good wishes to them,” Jacob whispers back.

“Oh, more help?” Dak Phai swivels her head over to the voice.
Yessei clutches the Siren’s amulet in her pocket, keeping it secret. “You think so? What kind of amulet is it?”
The 18+ side has just always been less popular… I guess people think we strap them up like pulp fiction or something .
“Yeah, that’s Denzel. If know that voice anywhere… I hope you brought headphones.” Hailey plucks done wireless ones out her pocket.
The extra Hailey looks around like a clueless child, just vibing. She walks closer to Dak Phai and… Yep, she’s sniffing her.
“You want to put him in daycare?” CeBella appears again right behind her. She’s the witch who helped earlier.
“Before?” Dee asks. “Come on, dude, you can’t stop halfway. Seriously?” She sighs with exasperation.
“What’s the average lifespan? Are elves here different than my universe? In mine, they’re kind of like vampires. They can live forever as long as they have access to the right magic.”
“Well, the book said it’s called the Destiny’s Amulet. The door is called the Echo Door, and the things used to open the door are called the Spirit Symbols,” Przygoda explains.
Amethyst is staring at the extra Hailey
“Oh, hello!” Pearl says when she sees her.
She chuckles a bit at the statement.
“What’s a daycare?” Dot asks.
Isaac flinches a bit.
“Before we went to Weltbaum…then we got seperated,” he continued softly.
“Here, it’s around 100 years,” Jacob says.

“What’s that supposed to mean,” Ansi asks.
Stardust thinks for a moment before adding. “Is that like an abilities thing? Or like… a yapping thing?”

Dak Phai, having lost track of clone!Hailey, flaps her wings in a tizzy, kicking up sawdust before she settles back down with a sigh of relief. “Phew! Had me scared there.”

“If there’s any spells I might be able to figure something out,” Sable murmurs out loud. “Even if it’s in the old language.”

The real Hailey watches Stardust’s lips flap and her face scrunches as she asks a bit too loudly… “Huh?!” Noise canceling headphones for the win!
“A place with lots of new friends for you.” CeBella reaches out to take the pup if Pearl wants to give.
“So, where you just came from?” Denzel tries to clarify.
