Hey all. still dying wth covid. every day it gets worse so i am out of the office - anyone have tips for working whilst you’re, well, dying? not client work, but i have an event and the deadline to get a cover to them is the 1st T_T

I want to start by saying that I hope you get better and wish you a speedy recovery!

Uh, I’ve never “worked” per se, nor have I ever gotten COVID, but I’ve studied while I was sick. I hope that these tips will help you in a way:

  • Keep a bottle or two of water nearby. Doesn’t have to be on your desk if you don’t want to risk spilling stuff onto your computer; you can put a chair or stool next to you and put your water there instead. That way you can easily keep yourself hydrated.
  • Take breaks, and when you’re on a break, eat well and don’t look at a screen. I know my bro recovers fast because he eats a ton even when he’s sick, so maybe it will help you too.
  • Don’t drink cold water, and don’t eat cold food.
  • Try sleeping early and getting up early instead of staying up late. Your body needs a rest; try sleeping before midnight and continuing work in the morning.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit.

Also, is it possible to tell people that you might not be able to meet the deadline since you’re sick? Maybe they’ll understand if you tell them you have COVID.

i’m shocked you were able to find a white hair male stock :joy: i tried looking but gave up

i tried to create my own render but 3d model programs hate my mac

I tried finding royalty-free stock but asian males are so difficult to find (spent an hour trawling DA and other stock sites) that I hung off my principles for a bit and simply used google to search in the end.

I tried using Daz too but the interface boggled my mind and it hates my HP too :joy:

The newest Daz version doesn’t work on Mac afaik, you need an older version of it :slight_smile: it’s fun

im not sure, i use the most updated version because i buy the new products. :’( it might be worth digging aroundf or asking on the forums. i know plenty of people HAVE the older executables

Okay guys, I need y’alls opinion. I’m making a cover for the second book of a series (once I finish the first book, lol T_T) but I need to know if it fits the layout(?) Basically, if it looks like it’s from the same series :rofl:

The first one is from the first book and the one that’s currently up and ongoing. The second one is the one I’m fixing. (Btw, I lost the original’s whole layout so I had to work from scratch and remember what style of text that I used :sweat_smile: that’s why they look a bit different.)

Thoughts?
