Is Voodoo queens set in NOLA?
An unnamed area just outside of New Orleans, to be more in Cajun culture than the city. There is some parts that will be N.O. because overt and showy practitioners are there. But at bare minimum, a Catholic-wiccan blend is practiced further out.

I hit the Complete button.
I have a feeling the last chapter needs work. Iām not sure anymore if it makes sense with what came before it. Sigh. Maybe itās just my wishful thinking that hopes that enough has happened to warrant a happily ever after. Weāll see when I look at it with fresh eyes later.
Anyway. This was a cool achievement. A complete draft in one month. 
Iām currently at 32,867 words. This number will likely rise when Iām editing (Iām an underwriter), but itās still a very manageable size.
Novellas are awesome!

Guys Iām really stupid. I forgot that the submissions were CLOSING on the 29th and not opening for submission. For some reason, my stupid self thought that you had to start submitting on the 29th. I forgot about the form, and the links. They usually show you the links and remind you about them as an announcement right? I didnāt get that announcement for the links.
Now I have four entries not submitted. Talk about stupid. Am I gonna continue to write them? Some of them. Am I gonna reply to this thread still? Yes.
I am so forgetful and stupid. But thereās always next year, right?

I think I am going to get tested for ADHD.
I think itās genuinely affecting my ability to concentrate, and meet/remember deadlines. Even if I set reminders, or do things. I find writing difficult at times as well, even if I have an idea of how things go.
I think that next year, I will try and remember things, look for notices and give myself enough time to prepare.

How are your projects getting on?
Not severelynstalled, but havong to take a break to dealnwith kids being home off and on, illness, and whatnot. February is one of the more stressful months without ONC.
