Hello, honestly it’s perfectly fine. Take your time, I don’t mind waiting at all
you’re so sweet! thanks a bunch. again, I’m sorry on my own behave for lack of communication as well!
Honestly, there’s absolutely no rush at all! Your covers are amazing, so I am more than happy to wait it out
» story title: Steady Ground
» author: Tori Hope
» brief summary: Atlas hears his dead mother laughing the day the ground opens beneath his feet. Plunged into the depths of Hell, Atlas must face his most painful memories if he ever wans to return home. A paranormal fantasy novel.
» ideas: I’ve played around with cover ideas myself, but never really pulled any off that I thought really fit the book. I would like the cover to be themed around earthquakes, perhaps with an earthquake hazard sign, a seismograph, or a crevice of some kind, maybe splitting the cover in half. The story kind of takes place in Alaska while it’s snowing, so I’d prefer to not have a sun or grass or anything spring/summer-y on the cover. An inky or textured font would be cool, too. Overall, the book is rather abstract/surreal, so you can have some fun and freedom with the cover if you want, ahaha.
» images*: don’t really have any to share
» inspiration: Here’s my current cover attempt:
I really love the darkness/texture of this kind of art:
» color scheme: I really love the white/gray/black covers with a splash of vibrant color. In my cover attempts I tended to lean toward red or orange, but feel free to play with different colors.
» mood: perhaps somber or anxious
» anything else: Not really! Thank you if you decide to work on this requestand definitely let me know if I need to post more inspiration or photos. Kind of on a time crunch as I wrote this lol, so I’ll respond later if you want me to!
hey darling! I’ll take a look at your request this week and let you know.
