I know this idea is unhinged but I saw the red in “Her Way Has Come” (it looks soooooo good btw!) and the red + winter + impending Christmas made me think of a holiday murder mystery lsjflsdkjfs

How much are you charging for commercial use? About to publish my first poetry e-book soon. The images are photos of mine that I’ve taken of New York. It’s basically a collection of New York/Puerto Rican themed poetry. Here’s a description if it helps:
A collection of poetry written by a Puerto Rican woman raised on the borderline between Brooklyn and Queens, before she became a resident of the Bronx. With a childhood scored by the sounds of the streets, and being a hard-of-hearing writer, her poetry is filled with the sounds felt in her chest, with the crossroads where New York and her culture have shaped her. Onderdonk & Gates are the corner streets where she grew up. This chapbook is a testament to life as a minority, life through gentrification, and a love letter to all of New York.
I took my own crack at it in Canva, but… it could probably be better. 
Here was my attempt.

i completely get it! and this looks so good??? I gotta know what font u used for the first three words of the title because that looks crisp 
speaking of which I’ve been stuck on this cover for a 5-book series (currently working on Book 4) and ur reminding me to go back to work maybe after I find an actual job first

Yay! Do you have samples of your work? I’m sure I’ve seen your designs before, but I can’t find anything on this site. 
I’m going to create a google drive folder to drop my photos in. Might have to wait until after Christmas because I’m unemployed atm but once I get my hands on some spending money, I’ll shoot you an email for sure. 
And then give you the link to that folder.

all my samples are rather old as i stopped designing when i enrolled into college, the four i have displayed on my first post are my most recent examples! i still have this little site up though with some older examples if that helps ^^

It’s a writing site, like Wattpad. They have a rudimentary forum section, but no design/advertising section, and with all the spambots offering “art commissions”, I don’t think you can do lots or graphic advertising. But I know a few writers who might like to reach out and request covers
