The idea behind the image was that they’re spinning about to take another run at an opponent! I certainly wouldn’t want to be on their bad side!

The scales are a brush I got with my Dan Luvisi pack. They’re great. But that pack has so many great brushes parsing them is hard!
Rendering splashing water was definitely a challenge for me. These turned out better than most.

The idea I had was that these two are hot and cold, south and north, and they live in pairs. The hot one is always burning inside and angry and the cold is always calm and balances the hot one out. Sometimes the cold one gets too cold and frozen, so the hot one heats it up.
That was the thought. None of this looks like fairy type. I struggled with the eyes.
And here’s a poison normal type. You can tell I added things and subtracted that weird blob.

The blob was not working, so I turned it into a claw thing. Also the one single spike in the back looked weird, so I added another. The dark brown in the back is supposed to be poisonous fumes. I tried. What is this broccoli bunch?
