- Can you be in love with a stripper realistically?
- How do you explain to someone you never met before about how you were once married?
- Does Troy really want to commit to Darryl Benjamin?
- Does a story with 5 protagonists make sense if it’s episodic?
- Can you flirt with a straight guy and have him kiss you?
Writing and coffee.
I want to wait a bit on the coffee though.
Yes, the natural posessive and protective part of the equation is what makes it difficult. People don’t explore “love is not enough” as much as they should.
You just say you were once married. The difficult part is trying to explain what they meant to you.
Do not get the reference.
It makes MORE sense if it’s episodic, mostly.
Married woman. Have done this today with the spouse, k thanks.
But I suspect you meant 2 men or at least not born male/born female.
The Q is supposed to be what, questioning? If you believe in a spectrum that changes then labels are absolute crap, and you’ll believe that a straight man can kiss anything up to and past a frog without ever budging from being heterosexual.
If you don’t, well you have a harder time answering that.
YES! I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO WRITE SLOWLY AND NOT SO FAST WHILE MAKING MY HANDWRITING NOT SO SCRUNCH TOGETHER!!!
I am so happy! Aw man, I need to get used to writing like that!
I apologize for bothering you too about that, but I am so happy.
There’s two of them now, Queer and Questioning. I know some monsters who think that LGBT+ is exclusionary and only like LGBT2QIA+. Horrifying, don’t you think?
The more they tack on the more common it’s going to be to get derisive about it.
I know right? And the fact the stripper will be seeing other people as a part of the job. Jealousy as well.
What about if it was in an alternate timeline?
They are my two main characters, it wasn’t a reference you were meant to get
Exactly, so why do people try and link and force them all together?
Yeah, that’s what I meant.
Yeah, I know right? I don’t get why people force so much emphasis on labels. It makes things too pointless and noot when you overdo it.
Starting chapter 1 of Project MH.
I need to come up with the plot for this story.
Edit: And a title too! I name it Project MH, but I honestly need a much better title than the previous one! So, I prefer to use something instead of Red Reign.
The series name can be Masked Heretic, yet the first book needs a proper title than whatever the last was supposed to be.
Come on, California, we get a lot worse weather than you. You’re freaking out over wind, waves, and rain. We get nearly 10x what you get and more, and you’re all crying over it. You get wet weather and sometimes flooding every winter, and we get rain most of the time. Just chill, stay inside, and don’t be idiots and you’ll be cool.
That is incredibly hard for some people.
What happened now?
Every single standalone romance on Goodreads is becoming a damn sequel, and so is every single stand-alone fantasy story
Ah, people don’t want to story to end. They want more even when it’s finished and there can’t be any more.
Have they ever heard of fanfic before?
Headcanon?
Sometimes it’s best to end it and not squeeze it dry, to the point of irrelevancy.
Either no or they rather not deal with fanfiction.
True. Movies in Hollywood are NOTORIOUS with this that it’s not even laughable anymore.
I feel your pain, but that’s really the only way self-published writers can make any money. I’m trying and trying to think up a series myself, but so far no luck. (ノД`)ヽ (ノД`゚)゚。
You, though, YOU! You could be making moolah with a series if you’d plant your butt in a chair and do it. A series doesn’t have to really be related anymore in the sense of having a shared arc. It can just be a collection of unrelated books that take place in a shared universe. All standalones, that can be read in any order, but part of one universe. Like the Discworld series.
You could do that with the Churroverse and make money, if only you’d self-publish instead of posting it on Wattpad. I need to come up with something like the Churroverse, but my brain is dry at the moment. (ノ_<、)ヾ(´▽`)
You could add traditional Pulp stories to the list.
Or the somewhat more modern Airport novels. Stories just long enough to last an interstate flight…back when the average meat Popsicle could afford to fly (and when we had decent airlines)…
Apply backside to chair, and pen to paper ~ Hemingway.
A good latest chapter to the Tower of God, like always.
I loved it and very pleased to see my boy Urek again.
