So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment?

I am trying to get back into listening to audiobooks as much as I can.

I am trying, but it is a struggle.
I am fine…for now.

Why bother with that if you don’t like it? Reading should be a pleasure, not a chore. If it’s just a misery drill, then why do it at all? ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

If I don’t, I will be giving into the fact that I have a serious problem that will take TIME for me to somehow regain normalcy.

I get that my ADHD is the real true culprit behind EVERYTHING, but I just miss things a bit.

So people with ADHD don’t like to read? I never knew that, but I know absolutely nothing about ADHD. Omg I’m so glad I don’t have that! And I sure wish they’d find a cure so those cursed with it could finally be free of it. I wonder if they’re even working on a cure at all? I bet they’re not… (╥︣﹏᷅╥)

I’m having more fun with my side projects than my current novel in progress.

I can not speak for others, just me.

Thinking about it, for as long as I’ve been reading fiction, it has been a tremendous trouble to sticking to the bitter end.

Some books are easier to get into than others. Yet writing (even though I had my fair share of troubles too) was somehow different.

So, it is a struggle, but with audiobooks it is a bit better…depending.

What if you just read or listen to a book for a short period of time, like five minutes or so? Would that help at all? Btw whatcha reading? Is it a long book or short?

I could give it a shot.

Till I am so deep into the book that I’d forget or something.

A Seven Realms Novel: The Demon King | Book 1
By: Cinda Williams Chima

The book is broken into parts/separate videos. The one I am listening to is a wee over five hours long and that is just part 1.

Hell, the longest ones I have are those A Song of Ice and Fire novels, ranging from over thirty to forty hours long.

Yeah…

I sure hope you can get through them…they sound interesting!

should I share what’s on my current music playlist or put my phone down?

Wanna make French Toast, but I lack a few things to make it happen.

I don’t need syrup, but I do need something.

I’m thinking about a character that befriended a cow which turned into a human and giving him the unicorn treatment (unicorns are fond of virgins fairytale trope) which has his brother’s teasing him and the woman pitying him. Shrugs

Fairytales were full of weird stuff.

Since the title “Sovereign” in a gender-neutral title for the person who rules all Alagossia, the children of the Sovereign along with the spouse should also be given gender-neutral as well.

The children of the Sovereign will be known as the Imperial Heirs and the spouses shall be now known as Imperial Lord.

For example: Presenting, Her/His Imperial Highness, (insert name here), The Imperial Heir of Alagossia.

The same applies to Sovereign’s spouse.

The Sovereign’s children are still princes and princesses, but they are given a higher status than the High Lord’s children who are also princes and princesses.

NOTE: I either made a terrible mistake or I want to make a terrible mistake.

I writer friend on IG got long-awaited top surgery that so many generous people helped fund, and I’m so happy for them

I spent the whole morning stressing about how to tell my students I won’t be available for the next three weeks… Only for none of them to show up to our sessions. Wow.

Today was actually a great day for me mental health wise!
1.I went to the psychiatrist with my mom who sat in with me and only assisted if I was struggling to say what was on my mind. I did pretty good and my mom did allow me to talk and get my point across and state her input.
2.I am going to be getting medication for my ADHD and some help with sleeping.
3.I cancelled my appointments and future appointments with another place I was seeing which is farther from me.
4.I made French Toast which came out delicious looking and taste great (not really mental health related LOL!).

So, yeah, good things are taken care of.
