Recently decided to try Sims 4 now that it isn’t, well, an unfinished game lmao. I’m enjoying it! Here’s my current sim with her dog, Red.

I AM! Gonna be super fun! I don’t really have any mods (I have… 3. Two of them are clothing items. Lmao) so no stress about updating mods XD

I have it written down in my calendar to make sure I update my game on the release date, haha. I aged up my alien toddler daughter after forever and now I’m like dang I should’ve waited . Now I need another kid xD. More woohooing!

NICE! My biggest issue with Sims 4 has always been just how basic and unfinished it is compared to Sims 2 and Sims 3. Infants is kinda the last bit that feels like a huuuuuge step back compared to Sims 2, and I LOVE infants in game… so hoping it’s gonna be awesome!

Noo, I’d never even heard of gshade tbh, I’ve always used ReShade for everything (not Sims 4 though, that literally just has a sports bra, some leggings, and a certain… whims mod. Lol) xD

Lol a certain whims mood . They dragged the dev of gshade, which like… kinda fair .

I didn’t get into Sims until the 3rd one was fully developed, so 4 is the first one I’ve been on since it’s creation. I loved 3, but it was so buggy because it was so old .

Ooof, honestly Sims 2 is my fav, I played a lot of it when it came out. Sims 3 came out and I tried it at a friends house but my laptop at the time was really old and couldn’t handle even some of the newer Sims 2 expansions lol. Sims 2 is still my fav and runs really well (with a few tweaks to settings!!) but I made the move to Sims 4 solely because of the ability to farm (I turn all games into farming sims…) without modding it. Possibly the only benefit of Sims 4 over Sims 2… farming.

Which means you probably live for Cottage Living . I put my sims on a 50x50 lot and I’m thinking I’ll have to move them to the bigger 64x64 one because their place takes up so much space . I made them farmers, haha.

Not gonna lie, I don’t know which expac is which XD My current Sim (second generation) moved into a prebuild in the farmy world thing, I made the house smaller (it’s just her and her dog!) and renovated the outside so she had a barn and stuff :')
